چکیده
Abstract Alkaline delignification of wood tissue is the core global pulping technology and most prominent large-scale separation main components. This work aims at improved understanding interplay between topochemistry alkaline associated morphological changes. Morphology chemical structure partially soda-delignified chips were studied combining X-ray tomography (XRT), diffraction analysis compositional characterization (lignin carbohydrate content). The XRT studies wet samples (providing 3D structural information without interfering drying effects), allowed observation cell wall as an increasing amount lignin was removed with time. Comparison microstructure surface central parts treated showed a more delignified surface, which highlights dependence process on mass transport (hydroxide ions fragments) through tissue. crystallite size cellulose increased in <200> crystal planes during early stage while there little effect <110> plane.

متن کاملLow Temperature Soda-Oxygen Pulping of Bagasse.
Wood shortages, environmental pollution and high energy consumption remain major obstacles hindering the development of today's pulp and paper industry. Energy-saving and environmental friendly pulping processes are still needed, especially for non-woody materials. In this study, soda-oxygen pulping of bagasse was investigated and a successful soda-oxygen pulping process for bagasse at 100 °C w...
متن کاملStructural Modifications of Residual Lignins from Sisal and Flax Pulps during Soda-AQ Pulping and TCF/ECF Bleaching
We have studied the structural modifications of lignins from sisal and flax during their soda-anthraquinone (AQ) pulping and subsequent totally chlorine-free (TCF) and elementary chlorine-free (ECF) bleaching. For this purpose, residual lignins were isolated from pulps, analyzed by Py-GC/MS, 2D-NMR, and GPC, and their characteristics were compared to the “milled-wood” lignin of the raw material...
متن کاملinvestigation on soda and soda- aq pulping of whole kenaf
the present research has been conducted to investigate the soda and soda-anthraquiuone pulping from whole kenaf (v36). in this respect, anatomical characteristics of kenaf bast and core fibers as well as the soda and soda-aq pulp properties produced at four sodium hydroxide concentrations, namely 25, 30, 35 and 40 (g/lit), have been evaluated. the pulping results indicated that pulp yield and k...
متن کاملEthylene Glycol/soda Organosolv Pulping of Olive Tree Trimmings
This paper reports on the influence of independent variables in the ethylene glycol/soda pulping of olive wood trimmings [viz. cooking temperature (165–195°C) and time (30–90 min), ethylene glycol concentration (5–15%), soda concentration (2.5–7.5%), and liquid/solid ratio (4/1–6/1)], on the yield and viscosity and holocellulose, -cellulose, and lignin contents of the pulps. By using a central ...
